For their third single release "Run A Risk" from the upcoming album "Clinch" Bastard Radio teamed up with the Sensitives. "Run A risk" is about the groundhog that gives us the wrinkled middle finger when we relive the same day over and over again. And that little bastard keeps coming back until we finally give up and break out of our habitual patterns.
It's definitely worth taking a risk and a leap of faith.
lyrics
I feel pretty wasted but twice more alive
Just a classic morn in this betrayed paradise
Ten thousand reasons to quit my job today
I curse the one which is swaying my mind to stay
Do you still believe that this will ever change
I have seen too much freedom now
I’ve tasted it, I felt it in my heart
Who would I be if I stopped now
I’ve seen the sun rise fortune of time in my hands
It may keep my wallet light and my soul as well
And that don’t make no good slave
I can’t be held, I can’t be held
Better I may die as a pauper than by a million dollar heart attack
Better I walk through the whole day as a beggar than a driven man
Better I’ll be your Typhoid Mary than a liar to myself
Better I may die poor
But with nothing to lose
Nothing to lose

The lead singer of punk band Camp Cope ventures into romantic synth-pop territory, tempering slick arrangements with bare sentiment.
